Alan Kelly
On leaving Holyhead Secondary School Alan carried out his Scaffold training at the CITB Bircham Newton Construction Training College, Norfolk.
After completing his scaffolding apprenticeship Alan moved to London for 10 years before moving back to the Island to start MY Scaffolding in 1989.
In London Alan scaffolded on numerous high profile construction Locations including the London stock exchange , the Lord Mayor of London’s house, The Ritz & Kensington park hotels , Harrods food store in Kensington, No 10 Downing St, Big Ben, House of Commons and the Lords, the British Library, Liverpool St station, tower bridge and the Albert bridge, the Victoria and the Royal strand theatre’s to name a few.
Alan started MY Scaffolding with a borrowed tractor and trailer and the help of his brother Michael.
Although Alan loved working in London He has enjoyed working in and around his home environment of Anglesey and north wales in later years with his supportive employees as a family business trading as My scaffolding and looks forward to helping them in the future.
Amy Kelly
Amy, Alan’s daughter runs the office as well as Day to day operations of the business.
Amy joined the business in August 2010.
Attending the CITB National Construction College in Bircham Newton studying general construction.
Before joining MY Scaffolding previous roles included general labourer on-site, trainee site agent and a health and safety department assistant at a large local construction company.
